This pictures for this week’s edition for “My Week In Pictures” are a few more from our time in Anglesey. Unfortunately the weather didn’t get much warmer, but like all avid campers in this country, we packed for all weathers and managed to get out and about regardless.
Top: This is the big wheel on Beaumaris Pier. We turned up and H was so excited to go on it. I am not a lover of heights but I didn’t want to miss out, so I hopped on as well. On the way up I had white knuckles whereas H was pointing out everything he could see. They held us for quite a while at the top, and whilst the view of the Snowdonia Range was beautiful, it was a bit windy. So once around was enough for me. I got off and H and Daddy stayed on for another three goes. I could hear him shouting my name and see him waving at me all the way around. He is fearless.
Middle: I had a great idea to go out on a circular walk along the coastal path. H is now old enough for us to venture out without one of us having to pick him up to carry him back to the car. So I picked a 3 mile walk from Moelfre to Lligwy and invited our friends along. Well, it must have been 3 miles as the crow flies as we ended up doing a LOT more. This photo was taken just before the “my legs are really tired” comments started, and before the rain lashed down.
Bottom: It’s weird how you can take a photo of your child yet the result doesn’t look like them all. Here he is wrapped up from the cold and taking shelter from the wind.
